'Tech-Enabled Design Engineering' with Ricardo Baptista

This open class is presented in the framework of the curricular unit Architecture, Project and Digital Technology and will be held online (zoom), with reserved access to the FAUP's academic community.
Ricardo Baptista is a design director at AKT II, joining in 2005 after completing a Master’s at Imperial College London. He oversees design and technical matters of projects within different teams, allowing him to infuse each with his design-led approach, with an emphasis on creativity and innovation. Ricardo’s experience includes many UK and international projects such as the Central Bank of Iraq, One Park Drive, Zayed National Museum, along many others. Prior to joining AKT II, he also worked in his native Portugal, specialising in large, bespoke long-span structures such as sports stadia and airports.
