Researcher at the Digital Fabrication Laboratory - DFL of the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto - FAUP. Marina Ferreira Borges holds a PhD in Architecture and Urbanism from UFMG (2019), with a focus on Theory, Production, and Experience of Space, and a Master's in Structural Engineering (2015) from the same institution. She has a degree in Architecture and Urbanism (2005) and Civil Engineering (2012) from UFMG. Currently, she is a researcher at the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Porto, an adjunct professor at PUC Minas, coordinator of the postgraduate course "Parametric Design in Architecture" at IEC PUC Minas, and an architect at the Municipal Urban Policy Secretariat in Belo Horizonte. Her research focuses on digital architectural design processes and urban and regional planning using emerging computational tools.
