Surveyor and cartographer having dedicated much of his activity to the field of graphic documentation of the cultural heritage. He coordinated numerous architectural and archaeological surveys, from small artefacts to monumental collections. He is an associate researcher at the Center for Studies in Architecture and Urbanism and a PhD student at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto. He collaborates with several scientific research institutions dedicated to the heritage studies, having participated in projects in Chile, Spain, France, Finland, Italy, Morocco and Romania. Participates regularly in conferences and scientific meetings and organizes lectures and courses in national and foreign academic institutions. Its scientific activity has been focused on the area of remote sensing and its applications to cultural heritage, having developed an innovative system of morphological analysis that allows to recover evidence of anthropic action on very worn surfaces (Morphological Residual Model), ith numerous applications in the field of heritage studies. He is a collaborator of National Geographic - Portugal magazine in digital heritage documentation. From 2007 to 2010 he was delegate of the national commission of ICOMOS in the international scientific committee CIPA-Heritage Documentation.
