Bruno Moreira is graduated [2000-2007], master [2009-2010] and PhD [2011-2022] in Architecture by FAUP, with experience in architectural design and communication in its several stages. Since 2010 he’s a researcher in the Center of Studies for Architecture and Urbanism [CEAU] at FAUP and member of the R&D groups Center for Spacial Communication and Representation [CCRE] and Urban Dynamics and Morphologies [MDT].
He conducts research in communication and representation of architecture on interactive supports on the Internet and on territorial management instruments and their efficacy on regulating contemporary space. He was assistant of Computer Aided Architectural Design and of Communication, Photography and Multimedia [CAAD and CFM, 2010-2013] and invited teacher of Computer Aided Architectural Design [CAAD, 2014-2015] and Computer Aided Design [DAC, 2015-2016] at FAUP, focused on communication and representation of architectural design, and is currently teacher of the REVIT training course at FAUP, focused on the use of BIM technologies.
Member of the Portuguese Institute of Architects [OASRN] and of Cityscopio, a cultural association dedicated to documentary and artistic photography on architecture, city and territory. He is a certified instructor by IEFP and a FLAG instructor – a training center specialized on technologies related to the development of arts and visual/interactive supports – with particular interest in crossing interdisciplinary knowledge on architecture, photography, geographic information systems, BIM technologies, 3d modeling and rendering and web-oriented programming (especially mapping and geographic information platforms), field where he has practical, research and teaching experience.
He currently works as BIM Specialist in Castro Group in Braga, Portugal.
