Architect, by the Fine Arts School of Porto (1970-1976) diploma (1980); PhD in Architecture (1997) supervisor was Professor Álvaro Siza; Associate professor (2003) and obtained the title of Agregate (2018). Teaching of Architectural Design since 1981 in ESBAP till 2002 in FAUP, afterwards Public Space and Public Facilities and Theory of Architecture. Practice of Architecture, Urban and product designer since 1977.
