Resumo (PT):
Abstract (EN): A commercially available modified alloy zincate solution with various metal ion additions has been used to produce immersion films on aluminium, enabling it to be electroplated with other metals to attain good adhesion. The effects of nickel, iron, copper, and nitrate added to the zincate solution have been followed by atomic absorption spectrophotometry, electrochemical potential measurements, X-ray wavelength dispersive spectroscopy, and Auger electron spectroscopy. The results show that nickel acts mainly on the nucléation stages, iron controls the crystallite size, copper affects the bonding to the substrate, while nitrate acts as an inhibitor to aluminium corrosion reactions. © 1990 Maney Publishing.
