Resumo (PT):
New semi-quantitative metrics, for simple evaluation of the global greenness of chemical reactions used in teaching laboratories, the Green Circle (GC) and the Green Matrix (GM), have been developed. They consider globally all the Twelve Principles of Green Chemistry. To illustrate their construction, the greenness of several synthesis performed in the laboratory, under several sets of conditions, is assessed. A comparison of the results with those of another metric assembled previously in our work, the Green Star (GS), was used to validate the present tools. The results show that these new metrics are useful for the intended purpose, having the advantage of being simpler than GS.
