Apresentação Pessoal

Pedro Bragança (Porto, 1989). Master in Architecture at Faculdade de Arquitetura da Universidade do Porto (MIARQ-FAUP, 2014) with the thesis “Lugares de habitar entre a terra e o mar. Apontamentos sobre temas do território no Entre Douro e Minho”. PhD student, tutored by Marta Oliveira and Virgílio Borges Pereira, with the thesis "The place as a project - operative horizons for the practice of the Architecture of the Territory".

His research program is developed on issues of contemporary territory, especially about the place as an association device of people and a system of relationships of power, solidarity, production, employment and consumption.

Since 2015, he is Integrated Researcher at Centro de Estudos de Arquitetura e Urbanismo (CEAU) of the Faculdade de Arquitetura da Universidade do Porto (FAUP), in the research group Architecture: Theory, Project and History (ATPH). Former editor of the Unidade Magazine. Former member of the Young Architects Committee of the Union Internationale des Architectes (UIA), appointed by Ordem dos Arquitectos.
