Manuel Graça Dias (Lisbon, 1953).

Architect (ESBAL,1977), Associated Professor at Faculdade de Arquitectura da Universidade do Porto (FAUP), where he concluded his PhD in 2009, is also invited Professor at Departamento de Arquitectura da Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa (DA/UAL).

Lives and works in Lisbon, where he co-founded, with Egas José Vieira, the CONTEMPORÂNEA architectural firm in 1990.

Manuel Graça Dias, who had published several books on architectural themes, was Editor-in-chief of Jornal Arquitectos (2000-04 and 2009-2012) and the President of the Portuguese Section of AICA/Association Internacional des Critiques d' Art (2008-2012). 

In 1999, Manuel Graça Dias and Egas José Vieira were awarded the AICA/MC Prize (Architecture) for their body of work.
