Nuno Lacerda Lopes,

Architect, he combines architecture and people, construction and research, housing and innovation. He works with art and matter, city and territory, health and spatial quality, materials and sensations, colour and life. He combines creativity with writing; thought with drawing, painting, sculpture, furniture, design and scenography. That's why he researches, teaches, creates, designs, builds, publishes and participates civically, firmly committed to a freer, fairer, more sustainable community that is more aware of the environment that sustains us.

A full professor at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto since 1989, he directs the Centre for Innovation in Architecture and Ways of Living. He has created and coordinated courses on innovation, architecture and creativity; today he leads the international programme PICC - Project, Innovation, Culture and Creativity. He supervises master's and doctoral programmes in frontier areas that cover digital innovation, new ways of living and designing, and construction technology.

His work - built, drawn and written - is widely publicised in magazines, books and international architecture, design and scenography platforms.
