  • To set up the appropriate theoretical and methodological bases for planning and sustaining research;

  • Properly use the available thematic documentation and demonstrate rigorous qualities in the argumentation and treatment of sources and data;

  • To write with clarity a text that is coherent in its internal structure and in the articulation of the its parts;

Program

The development of the Seminar includes sessions for the discussion of themes, presentation of projects and works by other doctoral students and doctorates. In addition, it involves periodic exposure of the evolution of the updated status of each doctoral student's projects. Each one makes at least four presentations to the group and to professors invited for the purpose, in addition to the official presentation of the project, held in the presence of a jury. The presentations, taken as a whole, should give an account of how the work evolved, as well as to report the changes and adjustments suggested and the difficulties encountered.
