Objectives

Develop knowledge, experiences and pedagogical-didactic skills to an approach of Body Expression and Dance at school, with a current and responsible vision;
Know and explore the body as an expressive and communicative agent;
Explore the meaning of musicality, establishing relationships between music and movement;
Promote and develop skills in the execution of expressive sequences and construction of choreographic projects;
Implement different expressive approaches to dance in different contexts and diverse populations.

Learning outcomes and competences

According to the defined objectives, our goal will be to create varied learning mechanisms that allow students the maximum experience in learning body expression and dance content. The practical experience of the various contents taught will enable the student to evaluate their real skills in the area of body awareness, body expression and dance.

All assessment moments will aim to provide students with tools for their future pedagogical intervention, developing skills in transmission and demonstration, exploration and creation of pedagogical exercises.

  1. Corporal conscience. The body and its relation to space, time, cadence, intensity, the movement, the music.

  2. Construction of creative movement sequences through situations of improvisation and composition, focused on the relationship of music with movement.
