Objectives

Organizational Development Objectives The Organizational development module aims to present students with the historical background of organizational theories through the ages, not avoiding an analysis of the concept of sport and the characterization of the functioning mode of the sports organizations.
The theme of development and sports development his explored, linking up with the concept of strategy and the presentation of tools and planning techniques.

Learning outcomes and competences

 

On successful completion of the Organizational Development module, students will be able to: i) master the main contents related with the course of the organizational development theories throughout times and main characteristics of the current situation; ii) contextualize sport organizations management and present and control the main analysis and planning tools; iii) theoretically approach the knowledge of management models and its application in management, especially in sport management.

Eligibility for exams

All enrolled students will be able to take a written test and work out by role playing technique.

Calculation formula of final grade

The Organizational Development course will be evaluated through two papers and one test. The works are evaluated through presentation and delivery of written work. In any of the works, the classification can not be less than 47.5% of the corresponding value, being calculated the weighted average of the three components of evaluation.
