The module of Group Dynamics aims: i) to promote communication, understanding and improving interpersonal relationships in the classroom; and ii) to engage the students in a reflection about themselves and the class, defining objectives and intervention strategies.
The module of Leadership aims: i) to review and deepen basic knowledge in leadership; ii) to prepare students to a more reasoned selection of the best methodology to adopt in different situations in their areas of intervention.
On successful completion of this CU, students will be able to:
i) develop an understanding of group dynamics
ii) develop an understanding of how they work in a group
iii) identify and explain the necessary roles within groups and sport organizations
iv) identify, evaluate and suggest solutions to problems encountered in a large group communication context.
v) exhibit knowledge and understanding of leadership models
vi) apply different leadership methods depending on various demands for individuals and groups
vii) identify the relevance, in guest speaker key points, to their development as a leader
viii) transform theoretical knowledge into practice and use the theoretical content to analyze the practice, applying learned experiences to better serve their organizations
