Providing the students with specific and specialized knowledge concerning the relations between Sports, or physical and sporting activities, sports policies and entrepreneurship. The main purpose is to identify, characterize and interpret sports and political reality (both public and private) and correlate it with entrepreneurship, within its variants of intra-entrepreneurship, and social and corporate entrepreneurship. This way the students will understand the factors that restrain the access to, the development and sometimes the outcome of sports practice, and also the various specific professions related to sport.
- To identify the different political contexts and the resultant sports policies
- To differentiate the public sports policies from the private ones
- To perceive entrepreneurship and its relationship with sports policies
- Sport, Politics and Entrepreneurship. General concepts and conceptual and practical inter-relations.
- Public sports policies. The ministerial jurisdiction of sport and the main political documents and programmes.
- Policies issued by central, regional and local administrations. Documents and intervention programmes.
- Private sports policies. Associative policies (associations and other private entities) and entrepreneurial policies (business sector).
- Relations between public and private policies.
- Interaction between sports policies and Entrepreneurship.
- Intra-entrepreneurship, social and corporate entrepreneurship.
Expository method toggling between conceptual approaches and the promotion of debates and presentations by the students. The target is to create an interactive environment in the classroom that helps the students to reflect and discuss on the intersection between sports reality and political and entrepreneurial reality, focusing on practical, more evident and media covered cases.

Assessment without final exam.
The final classification will be the average value among the final exam (70%), the delivery of practical works (20%) and the contribution in lessons (10%).
