Objectives

- Teach the student to observe, describe and use the correct anatomical nomenclature.
- Stimulate the ability to systematize from the analytical description of the human body.
- To provide the morphological basis of the human movement in a functional perspective.

Learning outcomes and competences

Given the stated goals (know how to observe and accurately describe the human body in a functional perspective), the syllabus serve to boost the students' ability to systematize and understanding of the human body.

OSTEOLOGY
A. Axial skeleton: 1. Head; 2. Spine, 3. Thorax.
B. Appendicular skeleton: 1. Upper Limb 2. Lower Limb.
ARTROLOGY
1.Spine; 2.Thorax; 3.Pelvis; 5. Upper Limb; 4. Lower Limb.
MYOLOGY
1.Dorsum; 2.Thorax and abdomen; 3. Upper Limb; 4. Lower Limb; 5. Main muscle synergies.

Calculation formula of final grade

The approval in the discipline in both regular seasons can be achieved through a final examination, in accordance with the evaluation rules defined by FADEUP’s Pedagogical Council. To be approved at the 1st season students should conduct a final exam in which they must get a score equal or above 9.5. If they do not get a positive grade, they can attain a 2nd examination in which they also need to obtain a minimum of 9.5. The final grade will be rounded till the units.

Internship work/project
