Objectives

This curricular unit intends to provide the students with the basic knowledge to understand not only the spheres of intervention and research of Sports Management, but also the organization of the national and international sports system. It also aims at allowing the students to understand which are the key elements defining an organizational culture and the main behavioral factors to the execution and achievement of success within sports entities.
The participation in a internship outside the faculty will provide the collection of data that will enable a thorough profiling of the sports entity including its structural, functional, human, and financial assumptions, in order to prepare a final report that will be submitted and discussed in the final evaluation.
