Abstract (EN):
This chapter highlights the challenges and opportunities for strengthening the evidence based on the relationship between gentrification and health, while emphasizing the importance of translating findings into actionable local and global strategies for equitable urban development and policy reform. Although the obstacles are considerable, the potential for meaningful progress is equally promising. This book serves as a foundational resource for addressing one of the most critical socio-spatial challenges of our time. We hope the insights presented here inspire continued dialogue, drive innovation and methodological advances, and foster interdisciplinary collaboration, paving the way toward healthier, more equitable, and inclusive communities. © 2025 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
