Resumo (PT):
This document was prepared as part of the Professional Internship course, which takes place in the 2nd year of the 2nd cycle in Teaching Physical Education in Primary and Secondary Education at the Faculty of Sport of the University of Porto. In this document, I describe my experience during the supervised internship I did at the School of Education during the 2022/2023 academic year. The internship was carried out with a resident 12th grade Science and Technology class, which consisted of 25 students. This report focuses on various themes that represent my teaching experience at this particular time. A personal and institutional background is given in order to understand the context of the internship more precisely. Afterwards, the operationalization of the practice is discussed, reflecting on various fields of action, such as designs, planning, classroom management and climate, instruction and assessment. It also describes all the activities I carried out in the CE, highlighting the main challenges faced and the main lessons learned. Finally, I present the report's final considerations, highlighting the importance of continuous training and critical reflection on practice for the professional development of educators. I believe that this report can make an important contribution to the training of new educators, by showing the importance of the relationship between theory and practice and of critical reflection on one's own practice.
Abstract (EN):
This professional school placement is part of the 2nd cycle of studies for the Master´s Degree in Teaching Physical Education in Primary and Secondary Schools, at the Faculty of Sport of the University of Porto. This report describes my professional journey as a preservice teacher. Being accompanied by two qualified professionals made the task easier and helped me develop. It was a very complicated year with a difficult start, but as time passed, I adapted myself and solved all my problems. I had a lot of difficulties during the first term. In the second term, I got more involved and adapted better to the school’s reality. In the last term, I continued to use MED. It was a very challenging year because theory and practice are very different from each other. I finish this report with a research study on FITescola in which I compare the results of the three terms.
