Resumo (PT): A publicação pretende avançar a noção de “modos de existência” de Bruno Latour para reflectir sobre possíveis ‘modos de (co)existência’ perante a consciência de que, nas condições vivenciais recentes, a noção de resistência se intensificou. Este conjunto de textos e ensaios visuais surge, assim, como forma de congregar diversas posições e formas de encarar a ideia de resistência através de noções de co-criação, reconfiguração espacial, poéticas do quotidiano ou a fragilidade de uma múltipla condição ecológica. Num ano em que o espaço público como o conhecíamos se alterou, em todas as frentes, da psicogeografia dos nossos quotidianos aos modos de trabalho, a noção de uma condição de globalidade versus consciência do contexto imediato mudou radicalmente. Ao mesmo tempo, o trabalho que os estudantes do Mestrado em Arte e Design para o Espaço Público na Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto realizavam naquele período foi profundamente afectado pelo confinamento e pelas alterações do acesso a pessoas, instituições e lugares, imprescindíveis para a realização dos projectos em curso. Não tendo havido exposição de finalistas para o conjunto de estudantes que finalizavam o Ciclo de Estudos e tendo-se afigurado necessário reflectir sobre modos e vivências, do pensamento às práticas artísticas, na perspectiva da afectação por aquelas condições sociais e pela sua ultrapassagem, a ideia de realizar um livro surgiu como forma de concretizar ambas as frentes.

Abstract (EN): The publication intends to advance Bruno Latour’s notion of “modes of existence” to reflect on possible ‘modes of (co)existence’ in light of the awareness that, in the recent living conditions, the notion of resistance has intensified. This set of texts and visual essays thus emerges as a way of bringing together different positions and ways of addressing the idea of resistance through notions of co-creation, spatial reconfiguration, poetics of everyday life or the fragility of a multiple ecological condition. In a year in which the public space as we knew it changed, on all fronts, from the psychogeography of our daily lives to the ways of working, the notion of a global condition versus an awareness of the immediate context changed radically. At the same time, the work carried out by students of the Masters in Art and Design for the Public Space at the Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto (Fine Arts Faculty of the University of Porto) in that period, was profoundly affected by the confinements and the changes in access to people, institutions and places, essential for carrying out the ongoing projects. Since there was no exhibition of finalists for the group of students who were then finishing the Cycle of Studies, and since it seemed necessary to reflect on the modes and experi- ences, within thought and artistic practices, from the perspective of being affected by those social conditions, the need to overcome them, the idea to produce a book emerged as a way to materialize both fronts.
