Resumo (PT): A Análise do Jogo é hoje uma atividade com níveis de desenvolvimento singulares, especialmente no mundo do futebol. O aumento da competição, a crescente importância da modalidade no panorama mundial e a integração de interesses económicos, ajudam a explicar o incremento deste fenómeno. A realização deste trabalho tem como objetivo constatar e entender as dinâmicas de funcionamento da Análise do Jogo. Assim, a concretização de um estágio profissionalizante nas Estruturas Técnicas das Seleções Nacionais AA, Sub20 e Sub17, da Federação Portuguesa de Futebol, mostrou-se como uma excelente opção. O entendimento teórico/prático da Análise do Jogo, com estabelecimento e definição das várias fases do processo, foram o foco de interesse na consecução deste estágio. As conclusões apresentadas convergiram entre a experiência do dia a dia na instituição, da reflexão pessoal e da informação proveniente da literatura. Desta forma, a partir do corrente trabalho, entende-se que: a) a Análise do Jogo assumese como preponderante para a preparação das Seleções Nacionais; b) os dados recolhidos e analisados pretendem dar respostas às necessidades definidas, antecipadamente, pelas Equipas Técnicas das Seleções; c) são realizadas observações a todas as equipas defrontadas pelas Seleções nas várias competições; d) os instrumentos de distribuição reúnem informações coletivas e individuais sobre os adversários, através de formas escritas e visuais; e) as informações transmitidas são definidas como um importante complemento de conhecimento sobre as características das equipas adversárias para os treinadores e, também, para os jogadores.

Abstract (EN): The Match Analysis is now an activity with unique levels of development, especially in the world of football. Increased competition, the growing importance of the sport on the world stage and the integration of economic interests, help to explain the increase of the phenomenon. This work aims to evidence and understand the operating dynamics of Match Analysis. Thus, the realisation of a work experience in Technical Structures of National AA, Under 20 and Under 17 Teams, of the Portuguese Football Federation, has proved to be an excellent choice. The theoretical / practical understanding of Match Analysis with establishment and definition of the various stages of the process were the focus of interest in achieving this stage. The findings presented converged between the experience of everyday life in the institution, personal reflection and information from the literature. So, from the current work, it is understood that: a) Match Analysis is assumed as leading to the preparation of National Teams; b) the data collected and analyzed intend to respond to needs defined in advance by the technical teams of the National Teams; c) observations are performed to all opposing teams faced by National Teams in various competitions; d) distribution of instruments gather collective and individual information on opponents, through written and visual forms; e) the information provided is defined as an important complement knowledge about the characteristics of opposing teams for coaches and also for the players.
