Summary: The value of gold has been more than tripled in the last decade. The proposed project will investigate the main zones with metallogenic significance for gold deposits in Europe Union (EU).
The research focuses from exploration, ore processing, water and tailing management to social license for mining. The studies involve institutions from 6 countries: Portugal, Ireland, Romania, Poland, Sweden and Finland as coordinator.
