Summary:

This 30-month action is intended to strengthen the applicability of CEN proposed Standard EN15251. This Standard seeks to underpin the aims of the EPBD by ensuring that buildings are acceptable to users and thus that the implementation of energy improvements embodied in the EPBD are sustainable. The action will make information available to a wide audience about the intentions of the EN and the ways in which they can ensure compliance with it for both new and existing buildings. Both the thermal and the lighting recommendations of the EN are addressed.
The Action will result in a variety of information and documentation which will be made available to a wide audience through an active website, brochures and workshops aimed at policymakers and building professionals.
