Have PhD in Sports Sciences (2010). In the 1st cycle of studies teaches the CU of Motor Learning (3rd year) together with Professor Dr. Olga Vasconcelos and the optional CU Playful childhood practices in schools. Reviews the Portuguese Journal of Sport Sciences and Educare / Educere Magazine, as well as some international journals, including Perceptual and Motor Skills, The Open Sports Sciences Journal and the Journal of Physical Education and Sport Management. Collaborates in the following research centers: CIFI2D - Centre for research, training, intervention and innovation in sport and RECI (Research in Education and Community Intervention) at Instituto Piaget. Is engaged in the following lines of investigation: (i) Understanding the behavior of lateral preference. His influence on the expression of the parameters of motor coordination and its relationship with functional motor asymmetries in normal and special populations: (ii) Review of coordination, namely the parameters fine and global dexterity, reaction speed, coincidence-anticipation in normal and special populations; (iii) Study of bilateral transfer in motor behavior, in learning contexts and high performance in normal and special populations.
