Objectives

a) To develop competencies in research at advanced level

b) To develop a critical perspective towards research paradigms and correlated theories through a pedagogic and/or social approach.

c) To develop the ability to formulate a critical reflection concerning research problems using a pedagogic

and/or social approach

e) To develop competencies at a methodological level when treating with research problems.

f) To develop a sustainable autonomy in research activity.

Learning outcomes and competences

In this curricular unit, grounded on the major purpose of writing a research project for the Ph.D. thesis, the contents focus on analysis, discussion and reflection of research problems related with the field (sports, education and culture), as well as on the most appropriate methods for each case.
