I hold a PhD in Sports Management from the Universidade de Lisboa and a Master’s degree in Sports Management from the Universidade do Porto. I have over a decade of experience in higher education at institutions in Brazil, Portugal, and Spain. My academic contributions include teaching in undergraduate and master's programs, where I have specialized in areas such as organizational development and behavior, sports marketing, sports facility and organization management, tourism, sustainability, digital marketing, and data analysis. 

In academic management, I have extensive experience serving as both a Coordinator and Dean, overseeing the management of more than 70 courses and leading the development and innovation of over 20 courses in both online and in-person learning modalities.

My current research focuses on sports consumption experiences in both online and offline environments, sports organization management, governance, sustainability, match-fixing, and safe sports. I am the author of one book, five book chapters, and 21 scientific articles, and I have delivered 31 presentations at international conferences.

Additionally, I have significant experience as a project leader in 16 scientific and intervention projects within the sports sector, with funding secured from international programs and esteemed partners, including the Sport Evolution Alliance, the Football Federations of Portugal, Germany, Belgium, France, Malta, and Lithuania, the Olympic Committees of Spain, Portugal, and Brazil, FIBA Europe, and Panathlon International.
