I am a qualified, committed, enthusiastic and sociable person. I am a PE teacher educator and researcher with plus 5 years of university teaching experience, supervising pre-service teachers’ teaching practice at their school placement, as well as their final Masters dissertation. My current lines of research involve quantitative and qualitative methods to, respectively, shed light on the inclusion of children with Special Educational Needs in mainstream PE classes and on how pre-service teachers learn to become a PE teacher and reconstruct their professional identities in the process. I am also a general PE teacher (+5-years), having taught in several public and private schools and in distinct levels of education (elementary to secondary school). I speak and write fluently three languages: Portuguese, English and Spanish.
