Summary:

The observation of superconductivity in twisted graphene multilayers is an interesting recent development. By controlling the alignment between layers, it is possible to tune the system's properties. There is, however, a major theoretical challenge: the atomic structure is quasiperiodic. In this project, we will develop new theoretical tools to study quasiperiodic systems, and use them to elucidate the exotic properties of these materials.
