Academic Calendar of the University of Porto

The following dates are set to take effect in all Organic Units of the University of Porto in academic year 2022/2023:

Start of the Academic Year	1^st September 2022
Start of Study Year	12^th September 2022
Christmas Holidays	From 19^th to 30^th December 2022
Final date for assessment of the 1^st Semester	3^rd February 2023
Start of the Second Semester	6^th February 2023
Easter Holidays	From 3^rd to 10^th of April 2023
Non-academic week at the U.Porto / Teacher mobility week	From 8^th to 12^th of May 2023
Final date for assessment of the 2^nd Semester	7^th July 2023
End of the Academic Year	31^st July 2023
Special period for conclusion of Study Cycles (not applicable to the defense in public tests that must take place until December 18, 2022)	From 1^st to 15^th of September 2023
