Volunteer Work - Volunteering

Volunteering means making a difference. You can have a real impact on society through U.Porto’s programmes, while also enriching your personal and professional prospects.

Together with other entities dedicated to humanitarian aid, U.Porto supports and promotes various volunteering activities in which all the academic community is invited to participate.

These activities include Student Volunteer Work – which focuses on reducing school dropout and failure rates among students in schools in the Greater Porto area – activities related to U.Porto Museums, as well as Volunteer Work in the Cultural Activities Field.

Alumni, teaching staff and non-teaching staff, including retired or emeritus professors, can get involved in the many volunteering activities organised by U.Porto’s Volunteer Commission.
