Academic Year 2024/2025
The following dates are set to take effect in all Organic Units of the University of Porto in academic year 2024/2025:
| Start of the Academic Year | 2nd September 2024 |
| Start of Study Year | 16th September 2024 |
| Christmas Holidays | From 23rd December 2024 to 3rd January J2025 |
| Final date for assessment of the 1st Semester | 7th February 2025 |
| Start of the Second Semester | 10th February 2025 |
| Easter Holidays | From 14th to 21st of April 2025 |
| Non-academic week at the U.Porto / Teacher mobility week | From 5th to 9th of May 2025 |
| Final date for assessment of the 2nd Semester | 11th July 2025 |
| End of the Academic Year | 31st July 2025 |
| Special period for conclusion of Study Cycles (not applicable to the defense in public tests that must take place until December 18, 2024) |
From 1st to 12th of September 2025 |
