Abstract (EN): Four node shell element with one-point quadrature and stabilization is newly developed to be applied for large deformation problems, The developed element is locking free and has no hourglass modes. The constant and non-constant parts are rigorously derived from the Lagrangian strain tensor based on a convected coordinate system without special assumptions. The developed shell element with five degrees of freedom covers flexible warping behaviour without artificial warping coefficients and drilling degree of freedom. The assumed strain method is employed to prevent shear locking. The rigid body projection is introduced to treat rigid body rotation efficiently. The shell element incorporates elasto-plastic material modeling based on incremental deformation theory.
