Summary:

Este projeto surge com o objetivo promover a produção, a transferência, a aplicação e a valorização do conhecimento orientado para a inovação atinente à extensão agrícola, em particular de hortícolas e flores. Este projeto visa criar um espaço em Vairão (região de forte matriz hortícola) que consolide a massa crítica dispersa pelos vários centros de saberes da U.Porto. Tal espaço interinstitucional visará o apoio ao ensino laboratorial, o desenvolvimento da investigação científica, a inovação e a prestação de serviços atinentes à extensão agrícola. A concretização da operação passa, essencialmente, pelo estudo arquitetónico da utilização do novo espaço, atribuição da empreitada, execução da obra e aquisição e instalação de equipamentos de natureza básica, bem como equipamento científico-tecnológico.
