| Summary: |
The project aims at refocusing the perspective of University teaching in the areas of Energy and Environment in the Partner Country Universities, by creating a new curriculum at post-graduation level. The distinctive characteristics are:
·A concern for the re-establishing of links among partners in the Balkan region, by distributing the curriculum by the three participating universities of BiH, S&M and FYROM.
·Stimulating cooperation instead of competition by establishing complementary laboratories and activities, instead of reproducing the same structures at the three places.
·Establishing a close link with the Power industry with the formation of an Advisory Forum gathering together the Power Companies of the countries in the Balkan region.
·Effectively organizing a course in order to maximize the benefits from the EU members of the project. This course will be held at three different locations with the participation of lecturers from the EU, providing further training for lecturers in the Balkan Universities.
·Effectively involving the EU partners in the definition of theses work in the form of practical problems.
·Preparing the grounds for long term cooperation with the EU partners at PhD level.
·Providing the partner country universities with advanced material and expertise to deal with the problem of Energy and Environment, under a EU perspective of such problem (global warming, integration of renewable energies, dispersed generation, etc). |
