Your effort and dedication have made possible what, for many, remains only a distant goal: becoming a student at the best university in Portugal. Now, you just need to complete the enrolment process to officially become part of our great U.Porto family.

We are an academic community made up of nearly four thousand teaching staff and researchers, and over fifty thousand students. We are all here, ready to help you develop your full technical, scientific, ethical and civic potential, so that you may place your talent, creativity and knowledge at the service of society.

In addition to welcoming you to the University, I would also like to take this opportunity to invite you to the official welcome celebration for new students, which will take place on 17 September, outside the University’s Rectory.
