Sofia Magalhães is an MSc in Psychology from the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Porto, where she currently works as a Research Fellow in the project “M2S - Mindfulness to students’ success: Relating executive functions (EF) and writing through a mindfulness app to promote children’s cognitive, social, and health-related outcomes”, under the supervision of Prof. Teresa Limpo. Sofia’s main research interest is the study of children´s development, education and health. At this moment, she is particularly interested in examining the contribution of EF and Social Emotional Learning (SEL) to mindfulness and connected skills, as well as to develop evidence-based practices to improve not only EF, SEL and Mindfulness, but also school-, social-, and health-related outcomes.
