Marina Guerra is Associate Professor at the Porto University (FPCEUP). She directs the Psychological Counselling Unit in Health Psychology (Adjustment to disease) at FPCEUP having two scientific independent sub-units one directed by Sandra Torres (Eating Disorders and Obesity), the other by Selene Vicente (Neuropsychology). Research interests include the adjustment to disease (HIV, eating disorders, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, cancer etc.), the study of tobacco addiction, and also the influence of neurocognition impairment and emotion in adjustment to disease.
