Build spaces for consistent and sustained reflection on:
a. the foundations of pedagogical approaches that identify with the field of educational innovation;
b. the implications, from the point of view of teaching action, of the pedagogical approaches that are built with reference to the learning and communication paradigms;
c. the centrality of epistemological reflection to address pedagogical innovation as an object of study.

1. Pedagogy and innovation: From the refusal of the pedagogical paradigm of instruction to the discussion about the nature and assumptions of alternative pedagogical paradigms;
2. Instruct, facilitate or communicate: Reflection on the fundamentals of pedagogical options envisaged from the act of teaching;
3. From the limitations of discourses built from the field of Psychology to the affirmation of Epistemology as a conceptual space of reference for reflection on pedagogical innovation:

Teaching methods and learning activities
The management of the training project to be implemented in this curricular unit is structured according to four moments: (i) lectures by the professor of the curricular unit; (ii) lectures by specialists, namely to encourage and deepen the reflection on the contents referred to in point 3.2, which will be open to the academic community and (iii) organized presentation of works produced by students and (iv) production of an essay by each student.
