Eligibility for exams

Classes are subject to verification of attendance. Safeguarding the special cases covered in the law, students who miss more than 25% of the classes planned not get frequency at course unit (according to Regulation Assessment of students FPCEUP - Article 9, point 2.).

Calculation formula of final grade

The final grade requires weighting the group work in the following way:

(a) oral presentation (30% of the grade):
- interim (15%)
- final (15%)

(b) paper (35% of the grade)
in groups of two, presents the qualitative research conducted by students, following APA 6th,

(c) digital NVivo project (25% of the grade)
presents the use of the NVivo software.

(d) individual reflection regarding the research process (10% of the grade).

The final classification is obtained by weighting the evaluation components outlined above.
The ratings in each of the component and the final classification will be communicated to students on a scale of 0 to 20 points.

Examinations or Special Assignments

See "Special assessment" above.

Special assessment (TE, DA, ...)

Students who by law are exempted from conditions of attendance to classes will perform all assessment components defined (for this, they should contact the teacher until the 2nd class).

Classification improvement

Frequency of the subject (as predicted Article 10 of the General Regulation for the students Assessment, FPCEUP).

Observations

The grade improvement requires improving the paper and the technical report.
