Objectives

- To supervise the individual development of an original research, empirical or not, in the domain of Psychology;
- To promote the search, the critical analysis and the organisation of the information related to several theoretical and methodological frameworks in a particular domain of Psychology, with the aim of answering a research question;
- To promote the construction of a research design, adapting the methodologies of data collection and data treatment to the research goals;
- To enhance the capacity to analyse and to discuss thoroughly the results of the research, considering its potentialities and limits.

Theoretical frameworks in a particular domain of Psychology.
Research methodologies in a particular domain of Psychology.

Teaching methods and learning activities

Contact activities: tutorial orientation; presentation of works by the students; formative evaluation and evaluation of learning results.
Autonomous work: reading and analysis of texts; research work; bibliography search; construction of a report.

Eligibility for exams

The written report presents the proposal of an original research project in Psychology, with a maximum of 15 pages A4.
