Educational Sciences Doctoral Degree (Doctoral Programme)

Teaching Goals:

  • To qualify students to carry out autonomous research;
  • To deepen research competences in the field of Educational Sciences, having in mind the different components of this scientific area;
  • To prepare highly qualified teachers who, in a consistent way, coordinate training, research and render services to the community.

Academic and Scientific Competences:

  • To carry out, autonomously, original and innovating research work in the field of Educational Sciences;
  • To coordinate, animate and participate in works developed in the scope of research teams;
  • To conceive, develop and plan research programmes and projects and graduate and post-graduate training.

Admission requirements:

Applicants to educational Sciences Doctoral Degree have to fulfil one of the following conditions:

  • Holding a Graduate Degree in Educational Sciences with a minimum grade of 16 (on a scale of 0-20);
  • Holding a Graduate Degree in Educational Sciences, with less than 16 and an adequate scientific preparation;
  • Holding Graduate Degrees in other courses or foreign graduate degrees with an adequate scientific preparation;
  • Holding a Master’s Degree.
