Objectives
At the end of the semester, students must have obtained competences of: reflection on the phenomena of prejudice, discrimination social based on the theoretical concepts discussed; planning of empirical studies on these psycho-social phenomena; bibliographic search on the issues presented.
Program
Prejudice: prejudicial attitudes, beliefs and norms; Language and prejudice; Implicit attitudes.
Discrimination: controlled and uncontrolled behavior; psychological consequences on members of discriminated groups. Intergroup hostility and violence .
Observation methods of representations of social groups, intergroup relations, prejudice, and of the phenomena of discrimination and social exclusion.
