Objectives

To acquire knowledge for planning, implementing, organizing, developing and assessing healthcare systems and programmes in order to improve maternal and child health.

Apply epidemiologic findings to clinical and public health concerns in developed and developing countries.

Learning outcomes and competences

Identification of the most relevant challenges in maternal and child health. 
Development of the ability for discussion, critical thinking and research for solving problems in maternal and child health

Chronic diseases and complicações during pregnancy and puerperium.
