Objectives

Space for the acquisition, debate and deepening of Endocrinology subjects, the all-time matters and the new ones, with emphasis on molecular diagnosis and the molecular mechanisms of therapeutics.

Learning outcomes and competences

To get in depth knowledge in the fielf of: (i) endocrine disorders physiopathology understanding, with focus on the molecular mecanisms involved; (ii) molecular methods necessary to diagnosis establishments; (iii) molecular foundations of therapeutical issues.

Multiple endocrine neoplasia. - Insulinomas

Thyroid neoplasia  – New concepts. Familiar type of thyroid follicle epithelial carcinomas. Thyroid cancer epidemiology. Prognostic molecular markers of thyroid papillary crcinoma.

Adipose tissue. Lipodystrophies and intrathyroid lipomatosis. Genetic lypodistrophies.

Aquired lipodystrophies. Metabolic impact

Adrenal Medulla.

Familial paraganglioma. Familial types of pheocromocytoma and paragangliomas. DIPNECH

Autonomic Nervous system tumors diagnosis.
