Objectives
Acquisition of knowledge in Occupational and Environmental Toxicology. Recognition of the available tools for assessing risks in this area through the analysis of case studies.
Learning outcomes and competences
Students should be able to understand the different mechanisms of toxicity and how to evaluate risks related to exposure to chemicals. With this knowledge, students will be able to recognize, analyze and promote solutions in cases of environmental hazard.

Teaching methods and learning activities
A total of 81 hours of student work are estimated, of which 27 are in classroom, distributed in theoretical and theoretical-pratical weekly sessions.
Theoretical sessions are based on the description of contents and the theoretical-practical sessions include discussion and analysis of cases in group or class.
The students will be evaluated through a final exam with 100% of the final grade weight.
