With this course it is intended that students contact with the various theories, policies and practices that underpin activities and health promotion programs tailored to different populations.

Learning outcomes and competences

It is intended that the student is able to structure a program of health promotion, identifying all its components, namely, defining objectives and goals, planning actions and define strategies for the program evaluation.

Behavioral models and behavioral changes in health promotion.

Strategies for health promotion.

Development of healthy policies and the creation of health promoting environments.

Promoting health throughout life.

Promoting community health.

Health promotion in the school environment.

Health promotion in occupational environment.

Needs assessment, planning and evaluation of interventions.

Group dynamics and other intervention strategies.

Marketing in health promotion.

A total of 108 hours of student’s work, of which 36 are of contact, distributed as follows is estimated:
