This curricular unit will allow stutends to obtain knowledge in emergent topics related with Sleep Apnea Syndrome.

Learning outcomes and competences

Students are expect to: acquire knowledge about the clinical and scientific aspects of Sleep Apnea Syndrome (SAS); be aware of the current investigation in this area; and establish the connection between SAS and its related syndromes, especially in the cardiovascular field.

  3. Systemic repercussions of SAS and therapy effects on systemic alterations

  4. Organization of the diagnostic and therapeutic evaluation, and monitoring of long-term SAS patients
