The course contents are intended to update the different ECMO applications in the treatment of heart failure and severe respiratory patient critical.

Learning outcomes and competences

Students are expect to acquire knowledge of update on the techniques of short-term circulatory and respiratory support used in the critically ill patient.

  8. Neonatal ECMO : indications, contraindications and monitoring.

  9. Pediatric ECMO : indications, contraindications and monitoring.

  11. inter-hospital and in-hospital ECMO patient transport.
