Histology and Embryology of the Organs and Systems aims at providing knowledge about the normal structure, both microscopic and submicroscopic, of the main organs and systems composing biological organisms, as well as about their embryological and post-natal development. This knowledge is essential for the understanding of disease mechanisms such as morphological changes and/or functional changes of the cells, tissues and organs.
