Eligibility for exams
According to the pegagogical regulations
Calculation formula of final grade
The DISTRIBUTION ASSESSMENT (AD) will is based on practical (ADP) and theoretical tests (ADT) and will contribute for 20% of the final classification.
The FINAL EXAM (EF) will includes a practical exam and a theoretical exam. The practical exam (P) consists in the identification of anatomical structures, “Bell ringer” type. There will be 30 structures to be identified. These will be arranged in pairs, for the students to identify each group of two structures in 1 minute. To obtain the classification of 10 (scale: 0-20), they will need to identify 20 structures, corresponding the classification of 18 for the correct identification of the 30 structures. The intermediate marks will be calculated proportional to the number of structures identified. Students obtaining 10 in P+ADP will be admitted to the theoretical exam.
CT = 0,9 T + 0,1 ∑ADT
The theoretical exam (T) consists of 50 short answer questions, worth 0.4 marks each. The passing grade is 10 in T+ADT.
The final grade (CF) will be calculated by applying the formula: CF = [3(T+ADT) + 1(P+ADP)] /4.
Anatomical dissections will be classified in the range from -1 to 2. The highest mark (2) will be only attributed to the exceptionally well done works, while the negative mark (-1) will be given to students who did not succeed to finish their dissections in proper time. Monographies will be classified in the range from 0 to 1. The marks obtained for the dissections will be added to the final classification (CF).
The students who will obtain the final classification of Very Good (18, 19 or 20) will have to do an oral exam, being the classification of 17 values assured. This does not apply to the students with a classification ranging 10-17 and who request an oral exam to improve their grade. All the students in these conditions can apply for an oral exam.
